In this course, presenter Matt Gobush explores the Just War Tradition, a framework developed and honed over more than 2,000 years by theologians and legal experts. He explains how the Just War Tradition draws on Paul's Epistles and how early theologians offered a framework of Just War as an act of love, of using armed forces to love our neighbors by protecting them from harm.

Matt Gobush is a former U.S. national security official and current lay leader in the Episcopal Church.
